To take a dip in Lake Waco, make sure to access it from 'Airport Beach' or 'Twin Bridges.' 'Airport Beach' has a few picnic shelters and lovely views of the water, perfect for a day outing. Midway Park is a great place to launch a boat. It has camping spots, restrooms, and an ADA-accessible boat ramp. Droughts and heavy rainfall affect different amenities, so make sure to keep an eye on the weather and the news for updates. Waco Lake is maintained by the US Army Corp of Engineers, they will have updates regarding closures.

Live Oak Lake is a small 'hotel-resort' crafted around beautiful cabins nestled around a small lake. Each of the cabins offers different amenities, but all have a bathroom and are equipped with hot tubs.
