The spookiest time of year is nearly upon us! There are a variety of fun, scary ghost-hunting tours available near Waco homes for sale, which visit some of the most storied places in the area and tell the tales of the ghosts who are still said to visit from time to time. • Haunts & Legends Mobile Tour – 808 N. 15th St., Waco, TX 76707
You might already be familiar with Brazos Tours for their excellent food and wine tours of Waco, but did you know they also offer a haunted tour? The Haunts & Legends Mobile Tour is a two-hour experience for guests 13 and older that visits legendary locations across Waco, from haunted hotels to spooky cemeteries. Discover the legends of local lore and the haunted places some now inhabit.

The Haunts & Legends Mobile Tour is usually available every Thursday – Saturday night, with public tours leaving at 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM. Want a haunted tour just for your group? You can also book private tours through their website.

  • Waco Ghosts – 300 S. 5th St., Waco, TX 76701
Offering tours of haunted locations in cities across the country, US Ghost Tours brings its unique brand of tours to Waco with the Waco Ghosts experience. They offer tours of the Dr. Pepper Museum, which has more than 125 years of stories within its walls, the Waco Hippodrome Theatre, where a fire raged more than a century ago, and the Alico Building, where a tornado was said to have led to many haunted spirits in 1953. You'll also visit the sites of some less famous haunted stories along the way, which you may not have heard about before. Each tour tells the history of the buildings and their inhabitants alongside their haunted tales.

Tours are typically available every night, lasting for around an hour and covering a walking distance of about one mile. Do note that the location listed is the meeting place for tours by Waco Ghosts, which is in front of the Dr. Pepper Museum. For booking tours, answering questions, or anything else you might need, everything is handled through the Waco Ghosts website.

  • Paranormal Tour at Dr. Pepper Museum – 300 S. 5th St., Waco, TX 76701
Speaking of the Dr. Pepper Museum, the team there offers their very own Paranormal Tour which shows you an entirely different side of this famous Waco destination. You'll spend two hours touring both buildings of the museum, including many locations which guests normally aren't allowed to visit, like the basement. Along the way, you'll hear of the many haunted tales that have occurred at the museum over the decades, and investigate with your own EMF reader.

Paranormal Tours are available every Friday and Saturday evening through October, as well as on Saturday evenings through the rest of the fall. You can book your tour online for groups of up to 16 people, and guests must be 18 or older to participate. In addition to the tour, you'll have the opportunity to shop at an exclusive museum merch pop-up after you're done hunting for ghosts.
