Central Texas Light Displays

Central Texas is a terrific place to enjoy a truly memorable holiday season. Our real estate agents know many of our new homebuyers look forward to decorating their beautiful Central Texas properties with lots of lights each and every year. There are plenty of amazing holiday light displays to see all throughout our local area.

Let's take a look at some of the most remarkable light displays in Central Texas:

  • The Waco Trolley Christmas Lights Tour – See Website for Location Information in Waco, TX
The Waco Trolley Christmas Lights Tour is lauded as the best way to see the annual Christmas lights in Waco, TX. Waco stands out in Central Texas as a place that truly lights up every year, and this will give you a terrific opportunity to see everything the area has to offer. The tour takes 90 minutes and every guest receives their own complimentary hot cocoa. Tours top out at 27 guests and are available each evening until December 30.

  • Lights of West – 2818 Wiggins Road, West, TX 76691
Lights of West is an opportunity to create holiday magic that runs from November 27 through to the end of December. The light show runs from 6 p.m. through 10 p.m. every evening and begins with the tree lighting ceremony you have to see to believe. You can choose drive-through admission for a flat per-vehicle rate or park and ride in Lights of West's decked-out "light trailer." The park has a maze, live music, and photos with Santa.

  • The 12th Annual Waco Wonderland Festival – 311 Austin Avenue, Waco, TX 76701
The 12th Annual Waco Wonderland Festival is a three-day celebration that runs from December 6 through the 8th at the historic Heritage Square in Waco. Admission is free, but you might want to purchase a ride wristband to enjoy unlimited single-day rides on the Ferris wheel, the multiple-lane snow tubing hill, the kid-friendly snow tube hill, or even the Christmas trackless train. There's also the Mistletoe Market and the fully decorated Santa House.

  • Christmas Lights in the Village – 1300 South University Parks, Waco, TX 76706
Christmas Lights in the Village returns for six nights starting on December 13 and ending on December 22 this year. Taking place at the Mayborn Museum of Baylor University and open to the public, this beautiful and fully accurate historical recreation of an 1890s Christmas lights up the night beginning at 6 p.m. each evening. Each visit is a scavenger hunt, as every visitor will get their own special card leading them on a self-guided tour.

  • Nature in Lights – See Website for Trail and Location Information in Ft. Cavazos, TX
Nature in Lights is open to all from mid-November through December 31 this year. It is the local drive-through holiday tradition that makes the season so special in Ft. Cavazos. You can visit Santa at his village, see the lights as a passenger on a special train-only trail, or even sign up for a pony ride at the nearby Blora Ranch. It's only $20 for cars, minivans, and pick-up trucks, with rates up to $80 for the largest busses. Bring the whole gang!
