Spooky Halloween Market at Highland Acres – Belton, TX

Then you certainly won't want to miss the Spooky Halloween Market at Highland Acres, a special edition of the Monthly Market featuring pumpkins, Halloween decorations, craft vendors, great food, and so much more. Attend this free event on October 18, 2025, from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Hewitt's Spooktacular Halloween Bash – Hewitt, TX

Hewitt's Spooktacular Halloween Bash is the perfect event for a family outing this spooky season, with free admission on October 29, 2025, at Warren Park in Hewitt. The event features a vendor village, food trucks, costume contests, entertainment for all ages, and plenty of spooky surprises. While there's no admission cost, donations of canned goods or cash for local food banks are encouraged.

Haunted Tour – Waco, TX

If you've taken a food or wine tour with Brazos Tours in Waco, then you already know they deliver an excellent experience. But did you know they offer a Haunted Tour, too? Ride aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned van while you explore the streets of Waco and learn about haunted tales from across the ages. Tours are available every Thursday-Saturday evening in October, with start times at 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM.

Waco Ghost Tours – Waco, TX

Have you ever wondered about Waco's haunted history and terrifying tales from days gone by? Waco Ghost Tours offers a variety of haunted and spooky tours in the Waco area, visiting local landmarks and attractions. Tours are available nightly throughout October, with most walking tours lasting an hour and covering about 1 mile.

Temple Haunted Hayride – Temple, TX

Address: 7915 S. General Bruce Dr., Temple, TX 76501

The Temple Haunted Hayride is a family-friendly haunted experience, targeted toward guests age 12+ but open to younger visitors if they don't mind a few scares. Take a haunted hayride along a 1-mile trail, with jump scares, spooky sounds, and frightening characters waiting around every corner. You can expect official dates and times for this year's Haunted Hayride to be announced closer to the start of the event.

Silo of Screams – Temple, TX

Address: 1511 Industrial Blvd., Temple, TX 76504

The Silo of Screams in Temple takes the scare-factor to the next level, which is part of the reason why it's one of the most popular haunted attractions in Central Texas. The 2025 edition of Silo of Screams is set to be bigger than ever before, with five full-size haunts and over 30,000 square feet of spine-tingling experiences. Silo of Screams is open every Friday-Saturday throughout October 2025, with a special "low scare night" on Thursday, October 23, 2025, and Family Days on select Sundays.
