This year's festival also features a launch party for 98.7 FM KTCP, a new radio station based in Temple. You can attend the Bell County Family Festival on January 31, 2026. Kids get in free, and adults can buy discounted tickets online until January 24, 2026.

Skate World – Waco, TX

You can enjoy family fun anytime this winter at Skate World, where you can turn back the clock with a classic roller skating rink experience. The varied music, lights, and themes make every skate a new adventure, while the arcade makes this destination a favorite for kids. There are themed skate nights all winter as well, including special sessions for both kids and adults.

Heart of Texas Regional History Fair – Waco, TX

Hosted on the Baylor University campus, the Heart of Texas Regional History Fair is all about connecting Central Texas elementary and high school students with the long and fascinating history of Texas. Students can enter a variety of contests to write papers, create posters, stage performances, or even design history-themed websites, with rewards for the top entries by category and age group. Contests are open to students from grades 4-12, and the fair takes place on February 13, 2026.

Mayborn Museum Complex – Waco, TX

Tickets for the event are available online, with discounted tickets for kids 12 and under.
